Default FS: 1999 Santa Cruz Model H **Price Drop**

Sold pending payment

I have decided to sell my 1999 Santa Cruz Model H. I love this guitar but prefer 1 3/4" nut and mahogany back and sides, so I've decided to let this one go. She's a beautiful guitar in excellent condition with very light evidence of having been played. I've found 2 very tiny marks on the top (highlighted in the photos) and light pick marks on the pick guard. It's a standard model H, so the specifications from SCGC's site is listed below:

Body Wood - Indian Rosewood
Top Wood - Sitka Spruce
Binding - Ivoroid
Peghead Binding
Headstock Inlay SCGC
Width at Nut 1-11/16"
Scale Length 25.375
Body Depth 3.625-4.625"
Lower Bout 14.5"
Upper Bout 10.375"
Hardshell archtop case

I offer this guitar for $2,300 shipped and paypal'd CONUS only. Here are a few pictures and here's a link to more.

Default Santa Cruz

Interested in it. I'm new so I haven't learned how to send PM's? If you shoot me a PM with your number or an email I'm sure we can work something out.

That's a great guitar! I'd be interested, but Canada isn't part of the lower 48 yet eh??? haha

How's the neck, action, and overall sound?

A_Rush9,

Pardon my oversight for excluding our northern neighbor! I'm sure we can work something out. Toronto is much closer to Charlotte than many of the 48. I have no experience shipping guitars to Canada, though.

The action is good and medium low for fingerpicking. The sound, to my ears, is wonderfully rich with a good balance. Its amazing how much volume this small guitar can produce. Would you like some better pictures of the string height? I could possibly record a sound clip, too, if that would help.

Phil

I've updated the Flickr site with additional pictures to show the action, saddle height and fret wear on the first few frets. You can see the pictures here.

I believe this is one of SC best models. After a life of playing Dreadnoughts, I bought my first SC in this model 2 years ago. It's extremely comfortable due to the smaller lower bout and the increased depth helps the volume. Great guitar for a great price.
