Default Santa Cruz FS (Fingerstyle) - Sold

Sold!

This is a very special and unique model offered by the Santa Cruz Guitar Company. I picked this up a few months ago, because I really wanted a rosewood Cruz with a 1-13/16 nut. OF course, just a few weeks later, an H model with the same specs became available, and I just can't keep both.

This FS has a beautiful and perfect cedar top - The only distraction is the clear pickguard I put on, since I play with a pick mostly, and in taking pics I realized I got fingerprints on the underside of it - Yikes! The Indian rosewood back and sides are beautiful, and this one has a very special headstock veneer. All the specs are standard, as per the SCGC site - This guitar was never in dealer stock, and is about as perfect as they get -

I would love for it to find a good home, and thanks for looking!

Can't take my eyes off that bridge. There's a new maple model over in Phoenix and they want lots more cash so you are offering a very nice guitar at a very nice price. I like jazz capable flattops like this. I like that it can do the Martin Simpson sound as well. Very fine guitar, that.

Thanks - this is a really fine guitar, and it should be in the hands of someone who plays more fingerstyle, and alternate tunings. The cedar is amazingly responsive. I've gotten a couple of great trade offers, but I'd rather put the cash towards a kitchen remodel I have in progress. Plus, the wife is making noise about too many other guitars - I would love to keep it and try to learn how to play it to its fullest potential.

I think the price is fair, especially covering Paypal fees and shipping, but let's talk!

Good luck on your sale. I wish I was in the position to buy. Unfortunately, my recent Goodall purchase took care of any desires to buy in the near future. I have never played an FS, but if my SCGC model F is any indication, this is one great guitar. When I pick up my SCGC model F, I am amazed at the sound, build quality et. al. I initially wanted an FS, but at the time the price was prohibitive. I love my Goodall and Collings, but there is just something about an SCGC guitar that is unique and special! Compared to the prices I found, your price is great! Again, good luck

Thought I had a sale, but with no response back for a bit, I guess it's time to bump this back up!

The action has been adjusted down to just over 6/64 - 4/64 E-e no buzzes, just by taking some relief out. Still room to bring it down further with the saddle. A fresh, but extremely small ding at the base of the sound hole. And it does have a very nice SC hard case.

Let's talk!

Default Is the FS still available?

I am wondering if Your Santa Cruz FS is still for sale. If so, I would be very interested in talking to you further about it.

Thanks,

Mark
