Default Thinking about going back to wood guitars...

No I'm not. That title was definitely "click bait" - did it work? It has been almost two days without a new post in this Carbon Fiber sub-forum... that ain't right.

Making music with 4 of my buds today - one guy is new... he saw my X7 and Mark's X10 Slimline: "Are those carbon fiber? They sound great." We told him about Emerald. He brought a Taylor 814 and a Gibson SG... we haven't tried to convert him. Yet.

So, how about some CF posts, folks? Don't make me go look at a Martin.

Taken outside of GC the day I got it. It was a good day. Just needs a better photographer. I can barely take pictures. Also, picture with its friend.

Default Thinking about going back to wood guitars...

We just got back from a 12-day guitar-free road trip.

First guitar I picked up was my X20. It really is a glorious sounding instrument, which also has the best setup of any guitar I own. Next was the Amicus, which sits on a stand beside it - that little thing always makes me smile with its sparkly voice.

Both were perfectly in tune after two week’s benign neglect. Couldn’t ask for much more

My wood and cf guitars sing together "why can't we all just get along?"

Agreed Redi ! I play my HD35 more than the Sable these days, but you never know when that could change and they get along so well together ! Always amazed at how good the Sable is when I play it.

I went to a music club meeting on Monday - first time there. Mostly old folks and all classical and prior music. I sang and played a couple of tunes from the late 70s on my Rainsong Shorty. Got more than a couple of compliments on how it sounded. I don't even have a case or bag for that one = I just tossed it in the hatch and drove off. I would never do that with my Larrivee or Waterloo!

The only problem is my wood guitars keep asking why they have to go back in their cases while the CF are allowed to stay out all night and do whatever they want?
