Anybody have any idea what it will be? I would like to see an ekoa guitar that is smaller than the el capitan, with a regular paddle headstock.

Me too! but sorry, no idea what it will be, we'll just have to wait till January, unless Ted knows any secrets.

Me too, in a GA design with cutaway.

Hmm, looks like Blackbird will have to be one of our first stops at Winter NAMM.

New photo of the mould suggests that is not a dreadnaught shape (which I'm happy about).

While the El Capitan is shaped and looks more like a jumbo SJ-200, it is actually smaller, and is overall very comparable to the GA body size. I also thought it sounded a lot like my Taylor GA's if I had to describe the tone in broad strokes.

An L13 in eKoa would be awesome, since the L13 is very cool in CF. I await the NAMM announcement with bated breath......
