NGDNG EMERALD X7
Received my X7 from Emerald on Friday. The is from the May, Select Series. As small as this guitar is, I'm amazed at how 'big' it sounds. Wow!
Made a small correction to the action, as I prefer it a bit lower, and it plays beautifully. Back to pry it from my 33 year old sons finger tips! Ed Last edited by Kerbie; 05-20-2017 at 06:30 PM. Reason: Sp... |

Congrats on the Select X7!
That's a little fan fret beast and do share with us your review on it. |

Congrats! It's great that you're pleased with it. I don't pretend to know much about fan frets, but Alistair's video explanation helped. I'm curious to know how well fan frets work on a smaller guitar like the X7.

Congrats! That is a beauty! I smile every time I pick up the X7 - such a comfortable fit and delightful tone. Unlike the others, I have no doubt you now possess that lovely X7 Select Series... although a photo might calm them down for a while.

Good job. Is it as big sounding as a wooden dreadnought?

Physics still applies, even to modern design carbon fiber instruments. If you need to compete with a Dreadnought, I have two words for you: X20 (is that one word or two?). |
