Heya UncleJesse, It is more similar to BlueChip in this way . Not quite as stiff as the casein, but stiff compared to most plastics. It has a nice warm tone with not a lot of "string noise."

Congratulations on your new venture and welcome to the AGF Nik! Thank you for your sponsorship. Nice website BTW.
As previously mentioned, you will meet many great folks here. I have not ventured into boutique picks yet.... but I will be contacting you in the near future. Thanks again!

Thank you Godfather! I'll be posting a few new picks on the site tomorrow. Since most of them are one-of-a-kind I photograph them individually. Thanks for checking out the site!

Mornin' everyone,
Just this morning I finished an order for a fellow who is, in my opinion, hands down the most masterful mandolin player in the world. I could not believe my eyes when I saw his name on the order. I won't name names, but it would be nice to at least show the picks that are heading his way. Yep folks, this is casein . |

Nik, on the delete thing, go to the upper right corner of the post you want to delete. Right next to the number of the post you'll see
Click on the icon and leave a note to remove. I saw your post in the thread, but I try not to over-post on the Forum, to let the threads breathe and let the members and the mods take the lead. Glad to see you and AP get off to such a smashing start. Ethusiasm, Passion, Stubbornness, and even a little Cussedness will carry you through the frustrating days -- and there will be frustrating days, almost every time you touch a casein pick. Try to enjoy the journey, and remember it's a marathon, not a sprint. The turtle beat the hare for a reason. Doggedness and determination will win the day. Go get 'em, son. scott memmer Last edited by Charmed Life Picks; 10-29-2020 at 08:32 PM. |

Scott,
Thanks for the kind words. One consideration: Rabbits run in large circles, so of course, the dang turtle is gonna win. I take it that Aesop was not a rabbit hunter. hahah, Just joking of course, I know what you mean. side note: I learned last week that a cheetah can run up to 80 MPH. Can you imagine that? Imagine driving in your car on the interstate (speeding at, say 75 mph), when a cheetah runs right past you. Man oh man. That is somethin' Hope you have a great day buddy! nik Last edited by ApolloPicks; 10-30-2020 at 08:52 AM. |
