I use Martin Phosphor Bronze Authentics on my 3 acoustics. Medium gauge for the HD-28 and J45. Light gauge for the 00-18. I plan on trying medium light gauge strings on my 00-18 which is what I used on my OM-28 when I had it.

I normally use Thomastik Infeld Plectrum until I get bored and start ordering different strings to try. I've got some Newtone Heritage on my OM28 with John Pearse and DR Sunbeams on the way. I play normally 2+ hrs play a day, so I change strings monthly. I love the sound of new strings, and it is therapeutic to change them for me.

I haven't bought a new guitar since Jan, so it saves me money just buying strings...although I bought a digital piano last month.

I always buy a couple of 3 sets. Mostly it's Elixir Nanoweb 12's or Martin Lifespans 12's. I used D'addario's EJ16's in the past, but i find them a bit dull compared to the elixir's or Martin's.

I use
Elixir PB Nanoweb Lights on my 2 Furchs.
Martin Retro Monel Nickel Light on my 000-15M.
John Pearse Nickel Wound Lights on my Taylor Walnut and Yamaha FSX5.
John Pearse PB Lights on the other 3 (Nixon, Eastman, Ovation).

When I exhaust my current supply of Elixirs, I may try the John Pearse PBs on one or both of the Furchs.

My Takamine's seem to like Elixir. At the moment I have Nanoweb on all three.

The rest have Ernie Ball Earthwood.
