Default My first Uke with strings!

Finally made an instrument that has strings on it

Thanks .... I am pleased with the looks.
Hoping that ukes open up a bit like guitars as this is a bit stiff although good sounding. Volume seems to be the biggest issue so maybe a pickup added might be what helps this one

That looks fantastic! I really like the headstock and the emblem on it. Do you have any build pics?

LOL I really like the emblem also and that came about because in making the neck I didn't make it quite long enough to make the headstock overlay to lock the nut in place. So I had to come up with something to lock it in.... Hmmm a pineapple should work

So now I used that as an inlay to fix a spot on uke #2 near the tail end so it might just become my logo for any ukes I build ... I'll post a pic of that soon

I didn't do a detailed build set of pictures but I might be able to find a few.
