Default Takamine GD93 Nut Width

This Takamine GD93 seems real nice. While I prefer a 1 3/4” nut width and a 1 11/16” is not a deal breaker but according to specs this has a 1.6875" (42.8 mm) Nut width. That seems too narrow. How much smaller is that than a 1 11/16” nut width (sorry I’m not good in math) and has anyone played or own this model?

Andromeda,

1.6875” is the same as 1 11/16”. No difference.

Regards

I have a GD93. Like it a lot. Plays easy and sounds great with Elixir strings.

I generally always use Elixir Strings. Do you use light or medium gauge strings?

At the moment I have 80/20 bronze, Polyweb. 12-53 light.

I also have a package of Custom Light to try. Same 80/20 Polyweb but 11-52.

It’s great that a Dreadnaught sounds good with lights on instead of mediums.
