This is an exceptionally beautiful and beautifully made guitar. As nice as it is, I'm finding I'm enjoying my jumbos and dreads belting out fingerstyle rather than the nuanced playability and tone of this beauty. It doesn't make sense to keep it. It's Italian Spruce over Cocobolo. On the back you'll notice a couple of different colored spots. The previous owner said these were repaired cracks, but there is no sign of any cracking on the inside of the guitar. So ... maybe a finish fill? A slight amount of fret wear - see photo.

John does some really beautiful and innovative details on his guitars:
Straight pull tuners
"Invisible" truss rod cover
Titanium truss rod
Compensated saddle AND nut
Unique bracing on back
Numbered bridge pins - yes, they are actually numbered so they always go in the same holes
Incredible attention to detail: volute, rosette

It has a darker sound than my Breedloves but is incredibly articulate and nuanced, responding to a very light touch.

Comes with Ameritage Deluxe case with humidifier.

Would trade for rosewood McIlroy A or AJ.

Both of these guitars are lovely!

Does anybody know if Square Deal is still available for custom builds? I can't seem to find information.

I suspect these won't last very long on here. Good luck on your sale!
