Default NGD - D'Angelico 12 String

I've been considering a 12 string for a while. I played one of the D'Angelico 12 strings that look like a 335 and it played great. I saw these on sale and decide to try one. It came home with me.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1BH...6GyhNzKnDogZVJ

I need to get a case but every 12 string case I looked into had a 43" ID lenght. The D'Angelico "art deco" head stock is a bit large. The guitar measures 43 1/2" plus the end pin.

They do offer a bag for it and I have D'Angelico arch top and its gig bag fits.

It sounds very good to my ear but needs strings. Two sets are arriving today.

I hope the pic link works.

Fantastic! Congrats! I am picking up my new Guild 12 string today. Also ordered from GC. I ordered it over the phone for an in store pick up and at the last minute I noticed at the top of the page "Call 800------- and receive an extra 15% off, and lo and behold, it worked! Perhaps you can get a price adjustment if you want? Just sayin'...Enjoy
Best,
LarryK

Thank you again. Headstock is definitely large!

Got a D'A gig bag on order will be here Monday for store pickup. I'm off work today so I'll put on new strings. Kinda of dreading the string break-in period.

I picked up the gig bag and it was the wrong one. All of the GC paperwork had the correct D'Angelico ...12BAG part number but the tag on the bag did not. It was for the grand auditorium 6 string. Too short. GC credit me and order another one with notes requesting the warehouse to double check the bag.
Generic 12-string cases and bags are all too short. It does fit OK in a D'Angelico EXL1 arch top case.

I don't know why some acoustic manufacturer doesn't make one with a Rickenbacker style head stock. Probably patented. but that would be cool.
