Default Question on holding the guitar

I've been playing for many years...I'm right handed and hold the guitar on my right leg...I've noticed lately that after playing for about 15-20 minutes, my leg goes to sleep...(not a problem till I stand up) I don't think I am doing anything different than I have been. What am I doing wrong? or is this just another sign of my old age....(I'm 57)...

You may be leaning too heavily on the guitar body. Some players lean over the guitar quite a ways to be able to see the front of the fretboard.

Try a brisk walk for about 30-45 mins every morning.

Among things I'd try would be to see if this happens in a different seat, maybe one where the chair pad was angled slightly downward thus increasing circulation by decreasing the pinch. Similarly if the chair you use has a sharp edge, then a more padded seat might help.
