That shell for the rosette is gorgeous! And the BrRw is not bad either.

These are shaping up to be truly beautiful works; I know that as I progress and begin looking into a more personalized guitar to last me for a long while, Olson will -definitely- be high on my list of luthiers to speak to!

I'm a big fan of the Brazilian look that was selected, as well. Gorgeous!

He is a working machine for sure, yet when you get your guitar, you feel like it your guitar is the only guitar he built, one at a time.

Thanks, funny how everyone has their particular view of the Brazilian they love. Out of all the Brazilian I looked at.....when I goit a look at that one it was decided instantly!

First time I've seen this many pictures of Jim Olson's equipment -- he has some really top-notch stuff. Nearly as fascinating as the guitars being built ... nearly!

Hard to tell but it looks like some sort of Maple. Perhaps Quilted? CPA?

Looks like birdseye Maple to me...looks like specks on it.

More fascinating is most of it he fabricated himself. He even repairs his own stuff. What a master machinest he is.

I have a CNC/ Machinist background. Jim would be well respected by anyone who knows about tool making. His shop is meticulous as are the guitars we love to see on build threads. Keep the great pictures coming! Real nice of Jim to take time to send them to you Keith.
