The Silver Spitfire returns home.
Yesterday, the flight around the world ended as this beauty returned home.
My friends saw it, even my wife saw it - what was I doing ? Playing guitar with a friend -Grrr!

What a beautiful airplane! I have a hoody pullover that has a large Spitfire in flight on the back that I really like to wear.

I would have loved to see it.
A few years ago I was out walking and caught a lone F-111 cruising over the small town I live in - it was doing a similar flight around Australia before going into retirement.
