Sahlstrom Guitars are now available at Cotten Music in Nashville TN, this Small Jumbo model is made with master grade Honduran Rosewood back and sides (with sapwood center), and master grade Rose Sitka Spruce top with Sitka bracing; the Honduran Rosewood rosette (with b-w-b purfling) has a sapwood detail (referencing the sapwood in the back); 16" wide at the lower bout, and 12" wide at the upper bout, the body features an arm bevel and a rib rest on the top side, with a knee rest on the underside of the waist; there is also a sound port on the top side. The body is fully constructed with hide glue, and it is wonderfully resonant. Indian Rosewood binding on the body, fretboard and peghead; with b-w-b purfling; the neck is one-piece Mahogany with a soft volute; adjustable truss rod; Ebony fretboard with treble-side extension and no inlay; gold EVO frets; bone nut; 1-3/4" nut width; Honduran Rosewood peghead overlay with a custom Sahlstrom S logo in abalone; silver Schertler tuning machines with black buttons; Ebony pinless bridge (with the bridge feet wider on the bass side than on the treble side); bone saddle; 2-1/4" spacing at the saddle; 25-1/2" scale length; strung with Nashville-made String Joy 12-54 strings.
