Without knowing what you are trying to play, it's hard to know what to suggest, and you've gotten suggestions for other tunings. Another example: Gsus tuning, CGDGCD (aka "Orkney") is just DADGAD shifted over one string, and works well in G (or use the variant sdelsorey suggested - DGDGCD). I also use DGDGAD (DADGAD with the A string down to G), or "C-GAD", CGDGAD, which despite the name works well in G.
BUT, why not just use DADGAD? G is probably my favorite key in DADGAD. Basic I,IV,V: G: 5x0400 (prettiest chord in DADGAD) C: x3203x, or for more flavor: x32030 or x32000 (runner up for prettiest chord in DADGAD) D: 004200, or D7: 000230 (lots of variations here)
