And so I taunt you youngsters awaiting your musical carriage. Call 1-800-boo-hoo. In the meantime, I'll just keep torturing, mocking, and having a great deal of fun at your expense. You can get your money back at the door. Harr Harr!
Sooo... I called that number, Evan. Apparently, there are not enough numbers, because it doesn't ring through. The wait was unbearable!

Not sure I qualify as "a youngster," and I certainly don't have your experience or patience for the wait. For full disclosure, I did wait 4 days for my first Emerald; 13 days for the second. Is there some sort of inverse proportion on the number of Emeralds and the wait??

I've always paid 1/2 down on my 5 custom Emeralds. However, a production model may require a full down stroke.

I'd order while the ordering is good. The relationships of the world are changing rapidly and I suspect it's best to get what you want now.
I think you are right. I'm going to place my order ASAP...just having a hard time deciding on options, starting a thread on that now so as not to further hijack this one. But in answer to the iPod songs, it turns out like an idiot I had deleted the playlist after I got the ukulele. But I do remember some of them: "Waiting in Vain," "The Waiting," "Quando Quando Quando," "All I Do is Dream of You," "Patience, " Constant Craving," "Get Here," "The Very Thought of You," etc.

If you order through the website, you pay in full at the time of order. I ordered via email, and they sent me a Paypal invoice for a 50% initial payment.

Thanks! I'm going to have to find a way to keep myself distracted until then. Hmm, what to do, what to do...

Oh, you poor guy. Lo siento. The shipping notification is the worst thing. Now, you will be doing hourly updates and see you guitar sitting in obscure storage areas across the country. And when it does move, it will seem to go away from where you are. But hope springs eternal and I wish you well.

Hope that gives you some consolation. If not, try Boethius and the consolation of philosophy--that'll take a while to wade through and when you're done the guitar will probably be on your porch. I look forward to future reports.

VERY cool! Exciting times ahead! This wait is easy - keep us posted!

Definition of "an easy wait": YOUR guitar has been shipped.

Definition of "an anxious wait": MY guitar has been shipped.

After months of expectation building dreams, a shipping notice must be similar to going into labor.

I believe my X7 holds the record: 4 days from purchase to receiving it, Ireland to deep south Texas.
