Default Gator Pro-Go classical gig bag for my Martin OMC-15ME

I have an old Guitar Center gig bag which works for my Taylor 214ce. However, it is too big and does not protect my Martin OMC-15ME enough. After some looking the Gator Pro-Go classical seems to be a good option. Yay or nay?

I like that case. My friend has one for her Martin D-28 and it's pretty plush and well-made. I have considered that case for my small body Martins but was not sure of the fit. I think the Gator site has dimensions for it.

Thanks. I checked and my OMC will not fit. I need to go with the full-sized acoustic if I get a Gator.

I called Martin. They have their own solutions for 000-sized guitars. One is a gig bag model 12B0007. The other is a soft shell case model 12B0011. I like the 12B0011 more and am trying to find one online.

I have that bag. I got my dealer to get it for me from Martin for my 000-15M. It’s a great bag, lined in blue crushed velour padding. Any dealer should be able order it for you if you can’t locate online.

The Gator Pro is a very nice bag. Well made, light, and thick Polyfoam protection. I highly recommend them. I think I paid around $120 for mine.

I ended up choosing the Mono Classical/OM. It is lighter than the Gator (2,9 kg vs 4.5 kg).

Looks really nice. I’m glad you were able to find a good soft bag. The OM/000 size models are often harder to find bags that fit appropriately.

Thanks. Thomann.de had the Gator, their own Brand and the Mono. It took me a while to decide. I have a Fusion gig bag for my electric and liked that. I just checked the Fusion site and see now they have 4/4 acoustic gig bags. However, it is about the same price as the Mono.

I have heard lots of good things about Mono bags and from your photo it looks like a perfect fit. I probably have more bags than I need at the moment....and with a pandemic happening, nowhere but in the house to use them!

martin model 12B0011 came with my 000e black walnut and i think its pretty good, surpassed my expectations , fits snuggly and case seems to be quite rigid (just got this guitar 3 days ago and have not taken guitar out of house so i don't know how it will hold up).

I ordered a Gator GB-4G-Classic gig bag. It came yesterday. My OMC neck is too long so it will go back. I really liked the Mono gig bag. However, it would not fit where I store my guitars. That meant storing the Mono gig bag somewhere else which seemed like a waste for such an expensive gig bag. For now I'll keep using the Guitar Center gig bag until I find something else.
