Default need to install pickguard on new Bedell dreadnought-pricing?

I just received a Bedell 1964 SPecial Edition dreadnought. Sound and feel are amazing! It did not come with a pickguard (I don't think any Bedell models do). WOndering what kinds of materials are out there and what a luthier would charge to install one. Any thoughts? Thanks. Jon

Reach out to Holter Pickguards. He makes great guards and with the plethora of videos available online you can do it yourself. I've done with the tape hinge method and it went great.

+1 on the tape-hinge method. I installed one on my Breedlove, and it came out perfect. Surprised the heck out of me.
