Default Avalon owners question

If you use a strap did you put a strap button on the neck heel, or do you use a neck up device? I've yet to see a video with someone playing an Avalon wearing a strap.

I don't think make would matter. I like it on the bottom of the heel. So when you are playing it it's underneath the Fretboard facing down.

Not sure about bolt on necks though and I'm not sure if Avalon has that kind of construction, but wondering why they don't have one there (neither does Martin or Gibson though ).

I've put strap buttons in all of my guitars in the heel on the treble side like Taylor does. It feels more secure there to me.

Wuth bolt on I think both Furch and Taylor do it there. My Martin got one installed there as well.
