This species of ebony is exciting...in a Rorschach test sort of way.
Go ahead Tom, what do you see?
Beauty!
Very kind of you, though I think you must be tired? I was expecting some answer like "Washington crossing the Delaware", or maybe "Moses parting the Red Sea". But, "Beauty" is nice...thanks!

Thank you Ken! And yes, we'll try to get this one recorded...whenever the tuners arrive...

Closing in on this one being done.

Steve buffing the finish on the neck.

A fun package from the north made it seem like Christmas: Rodgers tuners!

Gluing the bridge on.

Thanks for watching!

You might not notice, but we chose ‘real black horn’ buttons which have a slight color variation which hopefully will tie nicely with the BWebony.

Beautiful tuners. Those will complement the guitar quite nicely.

Brother you are looking kind of ethereal standing at that buffing wheel. The Christmas ghost of luthiers past. Spooky

A note on these tuners: they are possibly the smoothest, most consistent tuners I've worked with. And goodness, the box they come in is virtually a keepsake.

Wow! Absolutely amazing!

The level of craftsmanship is astounding.

As someone who has designed and built custom pool/billiard cues, and furniture, let me just say again, WOW!

Thanks for the insight and build photos. OP, she's a beauty!
