I'll have one here tomorrow or Tuesday, I'll measure it for you.

I don't have an accurate measuring device. It's a bit below 4 inches though.

It’s 3.938”.

Apparently, everything I’ve posted today is invisible.

Not invisible. I read it. I think that website is very useful. Didn't figure I needed to be more accurate since you already answered the question.

Captain Jim measured his X20 with a 25.5 scale from the nut to 3rd fret @ 4 5/16" My blueridge 25.5 scale measures from nut to 3rd fret @ 4" It seems to me there might be some veritables. I was asking people with other guitars from other builder to get some idea whats out there. You seem to think your number is the only answer.

There are no variables. For a specific scale length in equal temperament tuning, fret spacing will not vary from one guitar to the next. It's all about ratios relative to the overall string length.

This. It's basic Math (Maths for our friends over in Ireland)

I actually found the same calculator as the first Google hit when I searched for "fret distance calculator".
Stew-mac also has one and gives the exact same answer.

https://www.stewmac.com/FretCalculator.html

Note that the distance should be the break point of the nut to the center of the fret because of the physics of vibrating strings.

I’m ordering an X10 this morning. I was trying to swap out the piezo for a Schatten but keep the level 2 switching and pots. Chloe and Simon went the extra mile including talking with Schattens reps about how to do it. Unfortunately it wasn’t in the cards but thanks to them I’m confident everyone did their best to try to make it happen. Schatten recommended against it so I went with the standard level 2. Chloe and Simon were awesome throughout countless emails back and forth.

I'm actually surprised to hear that. Les at Schatten, the maker of the pickup, recommends a mag pickup as a 2nd source with the HFN. I would've thought the Krievo humbucker that Emerald uses would be a good fit.

They also advised me before not to dual source the HFN with a UST, saying that the UST would alter the characteristics of the HFN. That's the short version anyway. Stubborn and curious me went ahead and did it anyway and to be honest I never noticed any difference.

I'm curious why they said not to do it in this case.
