Martin SC13E - preordered - any idea when it will land in Europ

I was always keen on this, out the gate. Preordered one today. Curious if anyone has any info on actual release date, beyond "Spring 2020".

Shops in the U.S. don't have them yet......the Guitar Center chain website says "expected to ship 5-25-2020". So it will likely be a bit yet.

So I got word just now that this will ship to me this week. Pretty excited to get it in hand and try it out.

Arriving tomorrow.

And I finally got a slot to bring my 000-28 in for a set up and a new set of tuners. Now if in my the weather stays fine for my weekly trad/folk session tomorrow night hings are really looking up

Well, it got here.

First impressions (on unboxing, 30 minutes playing it in my office) are quite positive.

- It's a great shape with lovely proportions, in terms of playability. Really sits comfortably, invites you to get around it.

- the Neck is everything they say it it is in terms of playability.

- the Action out of the box is perfect, for me at least. Low, but with room for strumming. I would not want it to be changed.

- Subject to checking intonation properly I don't think it needs to be set-up for me. I appreciate it's strung with 11s. Not sure if trying 12s will change much. I like 11s fine but I will certainly try a few different sets of strings on this.

- The tone is very nice, but hard to evaluate where I am right now. This room has poor acoustics in that guitars sound "dead". I'm trying to remember what my 000-28 sounded like in this room when I unboxed it. In truth I will have to get this home to properly evaluate tone.

- One thing I can say right now, is that the balance across the strings is fantastic.

- I havn't plugged it in in case that isn't obvious.

So, interesting to say the least. I got this thinking I might sell my D17M. That's a heck of a nice guitar, but I don't seem to play it much these days. The SC13E will have to really come up to standard over the next couple of days if it's going to stick.
