I like it, I wonder if they'll start shooting a burst on them? I love a well done burst.

Pretty sweet! And with the Baggs Anthem pickup. I may have to give this one a try.

Interesting that it was posted on FaceBook but still NOT on their website. Surely I am not the only person not on FB? I realize it is a very popular site, but isn't the company website still a portal for communicating to the masses?

They said something about it going to the NAMM show, so it's probably in pre-production, and not quite ready to head out to the dealers en masse. I'd guess that once they've got some ready to go to stores, it will appear on their website.

I suspect the same person responsible for their model designations, that no one can remember, is in charge of the web site. It is confusing at best, and often out of date.

Looks to me like a case of a great idea, good production and hopefully some sound financial management, but a clear lack of IT/PR skills. The overall packaging lacks. I think they are surviving thanks to the impeccable product they put out, but they could be doing so much better if they presented it a little more efficiently. I'm not stupid and I can't keep track of what the hell they make, don't make anymore and what it is. The average customer HAS to be lost even more.

I spoke to Ted at LA Guitar Sales yesterday about it. The prototype is headed to NAMM, and they have 2 or 3 in production right now. Delivery time is 2 to 6 weeks out.

I like the direction they are heading with these but remain shocked that the Classic, Hybrid, and Concert Hybrid series were all discontinued.

With all that said, RainSong does continue to have a presence. Even though they have had some issues with finish, the fit of their guitars is consistently killer and they do have really good tone iMO.

i'd love to see a non-cutaway Vintage Shorty and a redesign on the neck. Come on RainSong, let me know and I'll start saving my dollars. just sayin'
