Default Loriente Clarita Spruce top with Humicase - 1150.00

This is a very nice, all solid wood classical guitar built in Spain and distributed in the USA by Cordoba. This instrument has a street price of 1999.00 (see Guitar Salon International) I bought it a few weeks back and found it to be warmer and louder than the Solista I've had for a few years now, it's much nicer sounding acoustically, but I've found the Solista is easier to record with my simple setup, probably due to the ports I installed!

The low price on this one is reflective of a few minor cosmetic imperfections (the worst are pictured) and a VERY tiny crack in the end of the ebony fingerboard.

The fingerboard crack has been like this for a long time with no movement (it stops at the 16th fret) and it has actually closed up some since I put a good dose of Tim Mcknight's fingerboard conditioner on it.

In one of the pictures of the top (lower bout) it looks like there are marks in the finish - they are "bear claw" marks in the grain of the wood, not cosmetic defects.

Solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides, Engelmann spruce top, Marbled Cherry wood body bindings, 52 mm nut width, 650 mm scale length, 57-58 mm saddle spacing and original Humicase Protege hard shell case in 8.5/10 condition.

The action at the 12th fret is approximately 3 mm on the bass and 2.5 mm on the treble. Freshly polished, fingerboard cleaned and conditioned and a fresh set of D'addario EJ45 composites installed. I've compensated the saddle to get the intonation as close to perfect as possible

1150.00 plus actual shipping to the CONUS on my Fedex account. Paypal is fine - I'll absorb the fees.

Price is fair and firm and inquiries will be answered quickly.

I recently used it on this recording:

Posted this a couple weeks back and then changed my mind.

Absolutely wonderful instrument - would just rather have the money right now than a second classical.

Thanks Mr. B.! Appreciate the kind words.

After 3 weeks of A/B ing these two instruments, I'm still not sure I'm doing the right thing here! This instrument has a very intoxicating tone and loads of volume.

One of those you can't wait to wake up so you can pull it out of the closet!
