yea, I suppose I can say I can, and I can post sound cloud links to back it up..

When I was a much younger me, speed was a "thing" that we all strived for (meaning a lot of the local guys who were also pretty good players). not so much so any more. It's gotta "fit" the song, or part that the leads are being played over. I like working through the changes..

Hey Rob, I spent a few years in a gigging metal band back in the mid 2000s as the lead guitarist. We started playing covers (Iron Maiden, Metallica) while we built up our originals. Great time. I can rip up a solo but I'm no Eddie Van Halen.

I switched to 98% acoustic for about 5-7 years and just in the past couple of years switched back to electric, although I'm not playing much more than 15 minutes a night now. Love my Gibsons into my Marshall or Traynor.

Thanks! Recorded in Logic Pro X, Audient iD14 interface. MacBook Pro 13". Mastered in iZotope Ozone 9 Advanced.

Two electric guitar tracks (t style guitars w/ neck p90) into Goodsell amps (1x12) w/ Shure Beta 57.

One acoustic track, John How Ladder Braced Concert capo-ed at the fourth fret, w/ Roswell Pro Audio Mini K47.

One synth track (Logic Pro X sound)

One bass track on a Cort Curbo bass and two Logic Pro X drum tracks.
