Very much into Mandolin Orange and working on this for the trio :



But have stumbled onto this guy (and worked out the progression - this would be a solo piece:



I listen to BBC Radio 4 or 4 extra mostly but when I'm in the mood for background "easy" listening:

Aretha Franklin: The Atlantic Singles 1967 - 1970

What an incredible talent. So many brilliant songs in those three years, Columbia must have been kicking themselves for losing her.

Listening to some Poco, when I bumped into this thread. Stephen Bishop and Pure Prairie League were "just prior". Dire Straits "Water of Love" just jumped into the rotation...

I've also been digging deeper into Nick Drake, of late.

The last album by Snow Patrol.
I think singer/songwriter Gary Lightbody writes beautiful songs and has a superb voice.
