Default A slack key waltz with Led Kaapana

It's been a while since I stopped by "Show and Tell" but I had a chance to capture a clip with Led in his home town of Kane`ohe. The beach park there is not the miles of powdery sand we find in other places around O`ahu, but it has the advantage of being quiet and having plenty of parking! We got there a little late for the golden hour and the wind was too gusty to use mics, but we thought this clip came out OK:

Very pretty. Now I am tempted as an exercise to arrange that melody in ragtime style.

If anyone could pull that off it would by you, Derek.

Actually there are lots of raggy swingy Hawaiian songs, they were as swept up in swing as the rest of the world. That was a little after the reign of Queen Liliu`okalani though (grin).
