Here's one I was wrong about. I thought she'd be huge. She's basically out of the business now, and her backstory (which informs this song) is kind of tragic.

There are so many. Eve Cassidy was pretty amazing. Linda Ronstadt, Ann Wilson, Martina McBride, Olivia Newton-John, etc. are all great voices.
