David—shame? What shame? Those guitars are totally cool! Thanks for sharing those. The Tracy Byrd guitar is perfect. But the sonic description of the welder’s guitar made me laugh. Thanks mate!

I'm enjoying the kind comments so far!
Here are some favorites from my archive. Daddy Stovepipe's Grand Concert, who says it is in his "top 5".  Built two harp mandolins before I regained my sanity.  Courtney's Jumbo guitar, a local singer-songwriter who has a very active venue at her barn.   Matt from Brown Chicken Brown Cow String Band who has played this L00 for a lot of years.

My top bracing pattern. Note the upper two angled braces, each a single piece butting into the X brace and the neck block, arched over by the #1 cross brace. This eliminates, in my experience, any top-upper-bout problems.
