Understatement of the day. The orange streaks are straight up fire!

I can't wait to see her assembled and to read your review of her!

Just like you, jt1, just like you! But you've got more of a matte finish.

Yeah, it's really amazing how the nitro emphasizes the color. I also opted for engraved nickel Waverly tuner buttons since it's already a fancy pants guitar.

This guitar is as good as it gets in terms of materials and craftsmanship, no question about it.

Thank you for the nice comments. John is one of the most detail oriented builders working in luthierie now. Very few that can make his workmanship, in my opinion. And the sound and playability, which are even more important to me, really inspire.

And that is one amazing bridge!

(Not that I have anything against Pink Floyd)

I love John's work, AND pyramid bridges. I'll bet you're pumped about getting this one!

I support bridge building! Especially of the pyramid variety (though I like the idea of reinforcing pyramid bridge invisibly with carbon fiber). I also support the Pink Floyd variety of walls.

I hear it has strings . . .

The tuners are actually going to be swapped for engraved nickel tuners, but you get the gist.

When Max Spohn sent me images of his hand-fashioned bridge for my ongoing build, it was the first time that I fully appreciated how the skill and imagination of the builder is reflected in just that one component. I got the same feeling when I saw the one John crafted for this build. Remarkable what you can accomplish with the right piece of wood and sharp chisel in a skilled pair of hands.
