Again, way too good for who it's for.

I'm looking forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks at the TINY (Thomas's Invitational Nobranian YawnFest). It will be the event of the decade, with loads of vintage guitars, a few of the finest modern creations, and luthiers of the likes of Walker, Slobod, and Legeyt.

Should be a good time-y. Despite the fact that you’ll be there.

At long last, the purfling and backstrip for the style 30 project are complete. Kevin sent the final photos today and will be shipping them shortly.

31 pieces of top purfling and 19 pieces of backstrip halves. Plenty for many guitars.

Ok, at long last, the guitar itself is actually moving forward. John just inlaid the backstrip into the Braz on the completed body. You can see the photo of the finished backstrip. John was given the two halves of the strip so that he could align the two sides himself. Top purfling in the next couple of weeks.

Very cool backstrip (and beautiful Brazilian)! It must be exciting to have work on the guitar itself start up again, how did you manage the wait?

Well, yeah, I've got other guitars to keep me occupied. It did take a while, but sometimes that just happens in the world of guitar building.
