Very impressive, I love the staggered back strip, shows the figuring really well and the proportions are spot on to my eye. I have a model M as well, a fantastic and very versitile guitar. Mine is lutz/braz. combo, will be ineterested in the tonal difference with the maple. Congrats!

It’s nice to hear that you find your M to be versatile, as this is a major goal for this build. I find my playing style is mainly flatpicking and strumming but I also have been doing more fingerstyle as well in these last years. Marc directed me to the M once we starting discussing my preferences and he heard me play. I should be able to play his Sitka/BRW M guitar back-to-back with my build, it will be interesting to hear the similarities and differences.

I love Marc’s guitars (taking delivery of another one soon in fact) and I really like maple guitars. I’m dying to know how this one sounds when it’s all said and done. Congrats!
