Default 2024 PWGC EIR Herringbone Dreadnought - SOLD shipped CONUS

Hi folks. I'm the first owner of this PWGC East Indian rosewood herringbone dreadnought. It is in the exact condition that I received it. I hesitate to say mint condition, because is any PWGC actually mint condition?

Anyway, this is a stunning guitar sonically and visually. I just bought another EIR dread at a lower price point so moving this great guitar on to someone else.

It has a distress level of 1.5. 1 3/4" nut width. Photo of the specs is included below. Comes with the Original Case Company case.

Asking SOLD shipped and insured to your door. Payment accepted via a fee free method. Any fees, if needed, are the responsibility of the buyer.

Please reach out with any questions!

Josh

Thanks sir!

This one likely won't be here long. Several good conversations but no firm deal yet.

Surprised it's lasted this long honestly!

An HD, shipped to your door for under $6k and you skip the wait? It's a no brainer if you are in the market for one

These Pre*War HDs are my very favorite "D-28" out there right now. Stunning rosewood on this one. Best of luck to all!

Default Why am I selling?

I've had a few folks ask why I'm selling... great question! Because I just keep buying excellent guitars. Picked up a Gallagher G70 the other day and one RW dread is enough. I've sold exceptional guitars in the past and this likely won't be the last exceptional guitar I sell. This is a truly outstanding PWGC example.

How thick is the neck on this guitar? Compared to a Martin reimagined or a Martin Authentic?

There's probably a lot of folks out here who can answer this better than me... but it's more substantial than the reimagined and pretty similar to the authentic necks I've played. This is the PW vintage fretboard taper and it has a slight V shape to the neck.

Here's a link to a brazilian HD listed online. It has vintage taper checked off on the PWGC paperwork, but the seller also provided measurements in the text of the listing. I do not know if these are typical + or- whatever PW's working tolerances are, but it's probably a pretty good ballpark. Seems like the one in the listing is a bit beefier at the first few frets than the authentics I've played, which would make for a more gradual transition to that 1" neck depth further up the neck.
