Default Breedlove Passport N200 or La Patrie Motif ?

Both cost $ 290.00. Both have solid cedar top and laminated back and sides.
Which one would you choose ? Thanks.

I've been looking into these as well lately. Keep in mind that the Passport has a 1 3/4" nut width and the Motif has a 2" nut width.

In general both companies make nice guitars. Either could be a good guitar.

Have you had a chance to play either of them? If so which one do you like better. I would be concerned about the narrow neck of the Breedlove and would want to play one before I committed to it. In either case I would be concerned about the guitar being 'over built'. That seems to be a real issue with low end guitars and with the a nylon string guitar could lead to a 'dead' sound.

Again, I'd want to play either one to see what the specific guitar sounded like.

I really like my Motif. Very well made. Pretty easy to play, great tone for a small bodied guitar. I have not played a Breedlove so I can't speak to that. Good luck.
