Default Osthoff SJ Caucasian/Sapele for Healdsburg

Here are some shots we took (last night) just prior to shipping (later today) this one out to the Healdsburg Guitar Festival. I am honored and humbled to be returning to this show for the 4th time this year. This guitar is the "sister" to Chris' guitar that some of you saw in Montreal.

The guitar has a Caucasian Spruce top, with Quilted Sapele back and sides. It has a 13 fret body join with all the (new) features of Chris' guitar including a Titanium Truss rod the new Stealth Truss Rod Cover. I am really excited about the results I am getting with this new series and the players who have tried them are really diggin’ it too. Hope you enjoy the photos and of course if you make it to Healdsburg come by, say hello and take this one (and my others) for a spin.

Thanks for checking it out.

Stunning! Quilted sapele is one of my all time favorites. I really love the back of the headstock on this guitar! Very well done.

Sheesh, that's killer John! How are you holding your truss rod cover, magnets perhaps? Regardless its a nice clean look. Looking forward to seeing you and Susan again next week.

It's beautiful!!! I also like the truss-rod cover -- perfectly executed.

I've got a few sets, it seems very stiff to me.

That looks great!

I highly encourage anyone at Hburg to give this guitar a try... John is building great guitars.

Very nice!

For those of you asking about the truss rod cover, he talks about it on page 6 of this thread. http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...d.php?t=205423

I bookmarked that one

Nice bend on that cutaway. Did you soak it at all or just the usual spritz?
