Default Polytune - Align Reverb - Felix same as effects out

I'm playing a gig where I'd like to use my Felix to control a vocal mic, but not have reverb on the vocals.

So I decided to carefully listen test chaining the TC Electronics tuner and the Baggs Align reverb ahead of the input on the Felix rather than using it's dedicated insert and tuner outputs.

I'd heard that the K&K pickup is perhaps slightly "picky" about impedance.

No issues at all. I can hear no "real" difference through my Yamaha DXR10 speakers even though I'm now EQing the reverb, rather than reverbing the EQ.

Yay!

Here's my signal chain: K&K equipped guitar > Polytone3 > ToneDEQ > Amp/Board

I set the Polytune3 to buffer the K&K's signal & then add anything else after.

with the felix 2 you can
select which ch gets boosted
when you step on the boost
button.. this i wish i had.
The felix one..which i have,
Sounds good as a vocal
preamp. just dont use the boost
function for a guitar lead.
Ask me how i know this..
I can use my hx stomp to accomplish what your
doing as well as adding a gain block to boost my solos.
this works for me.
