Default Last Day - Price Reduction! 2019 Arcara 000-18 12 Fret w/ Adi Top - $3,500

Last day - I'm heading out on Saturday and this baby is not coming with me.

Up for your consideration is a Matt Arcara 000-18 12 fret with a 25.5" scale length.

For those that don't know, Matt builds his guitars alongside John Slobod of Circa Guitars, considered by many as among the very best in the business. It should be no surprise then that Matt's guitars are also considered to be at the top of the scale. This one is no exception. It is loud and clear and just a pleasure to play. The only reason I'm letting this one go is after I bought this one used, I decided to commission a 000-28 from Matt and it just arrived a few weeks ago. That one exceeded all my expectations and is the equal to this one, just different, so this one has to go. It comes with a premium Guardian case.
Hard to believe an Arcara is available for $3,500 but here it is.
Thanks for looking!

Beautiful! Help me: is this the picture of your new OOO or is this the 12 fret OM?

Cheers!

Looks like a really cool guitar, but surely the OM is defined by the 14 fret squished down body shape (to squeeze in the two extra frets) but your fine guitar (slotted head stock too) looks very much like the original 00 design.

Don't you think?

I think that's usually true but I asked Matt about that and he said this is an OM-18. I will ask him again just to make sure (again).

Is this handsome guitar short scale or long?

Jeff

It's 25.5 which is typically considered to be "long scale." Sorry I didn't include that in the original post. Editing now . . .

It's supposed to. Had to put a net over the the entire thing for the winter, though. The Heron were doing their best and then the fox and raccoon started to join the party. Can't do anything about the snakes though . . .

I corrected this listing. While Matt originally let me know that this is an OM, after receiving the comments above and checking with Matt again, he has confirmed that this is a 000. Thanks to Silly Mustache for picking that up!

Pardon me if I missed it, but I don't see an indication of when it was built.

Methos, I just edited the listing title to indicate that it's a 2019 according to Matt.

I just picked up an Arcara OM-28 and have owned an OM-18 of his previously and can attest to his guitars being top notch. Best of luck with the sale!

This one spent a year with me. I never put the guard on it,. If you buy it for the listed price, you will feel like you stole something every time you play it. It's that good of a guitar.
