That's trivia that I didn't know Frank. Didn't realize that the originals had the shroud in the case. My Historic cases didn't come with them, but my USA SG case has one. Personally if it's not a particularly valuable guitar I cut the shroud out, it just bugs me.

What’s really odd Rocky, is when I am perusing Reverb.com and I read of the LesPaul’s for sale, there is no rhyme or reason how Gibson decides to include a shroud in its cases. I don’t see the connection or criteria for their decision to include or not include a shroud.

Where have you been hiding out Rocky? Haven’t seen you posting in a while.

I've been on a busy run for the last few months, and when I'm not playing, I'm rehearsing new songs, cover and original, so I've been busy, especially memorizing lyrics.
