Default Interesting Twist on Greensleeves

I have a guitar pedal that lets me sustain a drone of any note or chord I like underneath my playing. This morning I had an F# half-diminished (F#b5b7) drone going with an inversion played as A-F#-C-E and started out playing "London Bridge" in various modes of G over the drone.

But somehow I lost interest in London Bridge and found myself picking out "Greensleeves" in E-minor (more or less, at any rate it started/ended on E) on the top couple strings, moving up and down the neck. That tune sounds so spooky over that drone.

Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone wanted to try something similar. It also get really weird if I chance the drone to the double-flat 7th fully diminished because then there's no E in the drone even though the melody is in E!
