Thank you Kerbie, et al. I've lots of pics uploaded elsewhere, but I believe we're not to post links here.

Maybe sometime I'll look into obtaining "paperclip" status. I'll enjoy seeing pics of all of yours. Thanks

*Very nice box work Rudy. I play a bit of cajun box too (but mostly fiddle).

Dwight, I had a 60s Rogers Powertone kit in "blue onyx" - similar to your finish.

Where did you get your flute, kkrell?

Antique cocuswood 8-key simple system flute (parallel headjoint, conical body, what is known these days as an "Irish flute" - kind of opposite of them Boehm typewriter flutes), circa 1825. Made by Rudall & Rose, London, England. I purchased it from a gentleman in Australia. The flute previously belonged to John Carlos, & it can be heard played by him on the CD "Flute Players of Roscommon" volume 1.

Now I'm waiting to hear from a bass player wondering WTH I've done.

My Tacoma Papoose needed some work when I first got her. The biggest issue was the intonation, but as you can see if you zoom in on the saddle, with a little Frankenstein operation it now plays in tune, up and down the neck. They have gone up in price since I picked this one up, but I will never sell

Very nice. I play a bit of keyless (Irish trad). I had a nice woodwind collection (vintage clarinets and saxes) which I turned over to my kids who are now studying. But I sold my tenor to fund stringed things...

Default Godin Inuk Encore

Here's my Godin Inuk Encore. Strung like a very short scale 12 string guitar, but the courses are doubles, not high/low sets.

Default Dorado 5-string Banjo

My Dorado 5-string banjo, circa 1978. All of the cheap gold plating has pitted and worn off, but it was a surprisingly well built banjo for the price I paid for it over 40 years ago.

Default Oscar Schmidt OS-21c Autoharp

This is my Oscar Schmidt OS-21c autoharp, also purchased in the late 70s. I'm pretty sure I rearranged the chord bars many years ago.

Default Home built hammered dulcimer

Around 20 years ago, I got the bug to build a hammered dulcimer. This was the somewhat unfortunate result. The break angle on some of the strings isn't nearly sharp enough, so they tend to buzz. If I owned a band saw at the time, it would have been wise to cut a break angle directly into the left and right maple blocks.

Catt, I'm not a charter member. I post the photos by uploading them to my OneDrive account, and then getting an "embed" link from there, which you can include in your post. That will display the photo right in the message. Most other file storage sites (DropBox, Google Photos, etc.) have similar functionality.

Catt, I'm not sure what you mean about the links. If it's not commercial, you can link to practically anything. As JMFingerstyle said above, you don't have to be a charter member. You may host the pics at a third-party site, like Imgur. Check out the thread I linked you and PM me if you have trouble.

Thanks all for the encouragement. I'm an old crank and since retirement have resisted all buttons but those on accordions. I'm a luddite when it comes to consumption and my motivation to e-register for anything has waned...my wife has been sending me stuff on dropbox for years, but I prbly let my registration lapse long ago after the first "upgrade" <cynical romantic idealist>

FTR, from my childhood to adulthood a large part of my identity was guitar. My hands wore out early and I had to switch. Thankfully I can still play thin-necked, fretless stringed things, etc.

Like those pipes! I love pipe tunes..

Banjos

Mandos

A Filipino banduria with a mandolin

A mandolin zither (I don't actually play this. It's a wall hanger.)

A Regal tiple

I have some others which I'll photograph.
