Neck, one piece old growth Honduran mahogany

Congratulation on the new Buendia, Jason! Great choice of woods - I have a Jason Kostal coming in to the shop with flamed Mahogany too. Leo is one of the best builders around today so you are in good hands. I cannot wait to see this guitar being built

I love Leo's guitar -- super nice guy too! I have been fortunate to build a few Mahogany guitars in the past few months after having gone about a decade since I last got the opportunity to build one --- and I have to say, Mahogany is a fantastic tonewood. Different sounding but every bit the equal of Rosewood.

I think you'll be extremely pleased with this guitar - not to mention, the wood is absolutely stunning !!!
