Default What A Friend We Have In Jesus

This was a favorite of my Mom and Dad, and always brings back memories.
Played on my Larrivee D10 Brazilian.

Beautiful ! Very fine guitar rendition.

I love those old hymns. Many are not heard in churches today but should be.

Thanks for the recording !

Russell,

Are you familiar with Pete Huttlinger's albums of hymns?

He did a couple, and you can buy his arrangements on his website.

Thanks guys. I play acoustic and electric in my church worship band.
We try to play one of the hymns each Sunday along with 5 contemporary
worship songs. When I am asked to play an instrumental during communion I usually will play one of the classic hymns. If we don't pass them on to the next generation they will become forgotten.

AMEN, dear brother. I'd like to see this happen at our church.
