What A Friend We Have In Jesus
This was a favorite of my Mom and Dad, and always brings back memories.
Played on my Larrivee D10 Brazilian. https://soundcloud.com/247hoopsfan/w...-have-in-jesus

Beautiful ! Very fine guitar rendition.
I love those old hymns. Many are not heard in churches today but should be. Thanks for the recording ! |

Are you familiar with Pete Huttlinger's albums of hymns? He did a couple, and you can buy his arrangements on his website.

Thanks guys. I play acoustic and electric in my church worship band.
We try to play one of the hymns each Sunday along with 5 contemporary worship songs. When I am asked to play an instrumental during communion I usually will play one of the classic hymns. If we don't pass them on to the next generation they will become forgotten.
