Default John Ainsworth's pinless bridge woes

Follow this guy on facebook, apparently pinless bridge didnt like the flight to his gig.

Judging by those shoes-he's obviously a circus clown and that's a trick 'exploding' guitar.

He should have reduced the tension on the strings. Is it only glue that holds a pinless bridge?

I think there are usually a couple of dowells that run through the top connecting the bridge and bridge plate

Yeah, normal bridges are so much better and easier to maintain.

OMG... as they say. I really don't think I have EVER seen anything like that before... thankfully. Makes me wince. Poor guitar whatever it may be.

As for pinless had one on my Tak for years..never the slightest issue, rather liked it actually.

Pinless bridges are an offence against public decency, with your naked ball ends being exposed like that.

I've actually been crying with laughter after studying that pic for a while, it really rewards careful observation of all the details.

Hard to believe someone didn't just do that to some old POS for a laugh.
