Default Need some opinions on a Problem...

I've posted this elsewhere but thought this would be a better place..
I bought a Alvarez MDR70SB and I have some string buzzing I can't get away from seems to be around the 15th fret...
I got to looking at the fret board and compared it with my Alvarez MD60BG(MF model) and somethings not right..there seems to be a hump in the fret board around the 15th fret.. I took a steel ruler and it will actually rock back and forth as if the 15th fret is higher then the rest of the fret board..my other Alvarez doesn't do this..
Any help would be appreciated.....
I'm in the 30 day window to return it....So I'm looking for opinions before it's too late.
Pictures:

This one is balanced on the 14th and 15th Fret

This one is rocked back to the last frets

Photos only provide partial information.

What are relief and action measurements?

Neck angle? Where does straight edge on frets land on the front of bridge?

That hump is reason enough to return it. It should not have left the factory.

Not sure this is going to help
String height:
At the 20th fret 3/16in
12 fret 5/32

Not sure how to measure relief ?

https://www.guitarworld.com/gear/how...coustic-guitar

Is guitar new or pre-owned?

Use 2' straight edge for neck angle check.

The neck angle check with a long straight edge assumes no hump near the lower end of the fretboard. The hump increases the height of the straight edge at the bridge. That needs to considered and compensated for.

The hump itself appears to be reason enough to return the guitar.

Thanks, Everyone......I just returned it to GC

I don't want to fight it plus the guitar had been returned before ..It's suppose to be new but came without a Alvarez box only the guitar ..gigbag and shipping box
And I could see marks on the strings where someone tried to adjust the struss rod before me...

Oh well...At least I still have my Alvarez MD60EBG(MF model) and now I need to research a new guitar again...

1]The string height is exceedingly high!
2]The previous 'owner' tried to adjust the neck angle +high Action via the rod=WRONG approach!
3]Neck hump. CAN be resolved by Levelling the frets[eradicates the hump] & Re Crowning to finish. But...The neck 'MAY' may need RESETTING!!! anyway.

Not a DIY fix.=Return guitar & replace etc.

the hump,, the dreaded hump!

sometimes you can mitigate the impact, but for something new, in the return window??

Nope.. I'd return it.
