Thanks Treenewt, I like writing about the different aspects of guitar making. Lately, I’ve taken to contemporary hand tools and enjoy explaining what makes them special and where they can come in handy.

Thanks Carpinteria, I’m glad you found that helpful.

Default OM Demo by Dustine Furlow

I just got the demo from Dustin Furlow of him playing the latest OM iteration of
my Penelope model:

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming Artisan Guitar Show. Dustin will be demoing my guitars there on Sunday afternoon. I really enjoy Dustin's skills and musicality!

Thanks Tom, Dustin does a great job describing a guitars’ characteristics and tones. He’s certainly a wonderful player too.

Thanks rule18, It was a bit of a trick to route out the pockets for the inlays. I think they'll go nicely with the overall look.

Default 1st Gloss Coat

The first gloss coat is on so we're getting to the final stretch for the finish!

Default Tuners are in

I just got the Scheller tuners in for my Mad Rose & Tunnel Redwood Greta. These all ball bearing beauties have Snakewood buttons and brushed brass plates:

They truly are. There are hundreds of combinations to choose from when putting an order together for a set.
