Angled soundhole pickup?
I have a Fishman Humbucker pickup in my Carvin Ac275. I was wondering if anyone has played around with angling this type of pickup in the sound hole. Will this allow you to fine tune the bass/treble responce? Or would it just look too weird? Thanks!

Not sure exactly what you mean by "angled". I run mine completely perpendicular to the strings (parallel to the bridge), but I do have the bass side of the pickup mounted slightly higher than the treble side.
Take a look at the Fishman example at http://www.fingerpick.com to see an example. I did exactly what is recommended on the site - swapped the cork pads around. It works well for me. On the other hand, if you are suggesting more or less rotating the pickup in the soundhole such that it is no longer parallel to the bridge, I'm not sure that would get you anywhere at all. Guess it wouldn't hurt anything to try though.
