Why not check to see the ratio? Just count how many full turns of the tuning knob equal one full rotation of the string post.

I just counted the number of full turns and it looks like it is a 1:18 tuning ratio... So I'm going to change my original post to reflect that.

Good job! You can obviously save time and only spin the string post 1/2 turn, then double the knob turns for the ratio.

Todd, time to get your annual eye exam buddy.
