Default Lowden F-50 sinker redwood & claro walnut mint

Lowden F-50 sinker redwood master grade and claro walnut master grade with Pro Hiscox case (upgrade from standard Lowden Hiscox case) .. has the armrest bevel .. standard scale, mint as new, bought from Mass Lowden dealer November 2016 and it has sat in its case in properly humidified guitar room ever since .. 100% mint as new, has maybe one hour on it .. my failing ears need a darker, more robust back wood, my other 4 guitars have African blackwood, macassar ebony, East Indian rosewood, and cocobolo, all paired with various species of spruce .. just need that bottom end resonance brightened up with spruce for my ears to work .. claro walnut quite close to mahogany or koa with a bit more bottom end .. paired with sinker redwood, result is very warm, articulate voice evenly balanced across the scale .. takes a flatpick very nicely and is also consummate for fingerstyle .. if you love Lowden and his walnut work, paired with the redwood this guitar is boffo ..

Paid $8,000 brand new, asking $5,000 firm by check or add 2% for PP .. will include shipping CONUS ..

Scroll down in the listing to find pics kindly hosted by another AGF member .. I have some additional shots taken that are pretty much the same as those below that I can email if you wish .. email me directly at pickerdude51@fairpoint.net to discuss further .. I don't visit AGF all that often and may not find your messages left for me here expeditiously ..

Guitar is in Maine if you are coming up this way by chance, 1 hour outside downtown Portland ..

Interested in your Lowden. Would you also consider a partial trade with mint Goodall AKGC?

Let me know,

Smile Lowden

Such a nice guitar for the money. I can't believe there isn't more interest. The woods look great on this one.

Smile Nice wood combo!!!

My RT2c 12 fret is this wood combo. It has a wonderful WARM SWEET TONE.

My preferred couch axe, as it sounds great and does not need to cut thru racket at home.

Best on this

Paul
