For sale was my Bedell Coffee House Orchestra Model. This instrument is exquisitely crafted and I would not be selling it except for that I'm recovering from recent surgery and have bills to pay.

This fine Bedell OM is in excellent shape and has lived almost all its life in my humidified smokefree home. I am its first owner. The Bedell features an Adirondack spruce top with marvelous silking and a few bear claws. Adirondack always delivers volume and clarity without distortion even with robust picking. The wood is relatively heavy, with a high velocity of sound, and has the highest stiffness of all top woods across and along the grain.

The back and sides are crafted from sustainably grown East Indian rosewood, an amazingly neutral wood that takes its personality from the player. The Rosewood is sanded to its ideal frequency, then hand voiced after bracing.

This beautiful OM also has a Honduran Mahogany neck. Mahogany has a balanced, resonant tone with notable sustain, delivering a thick bottom end, rich midrange, and controlled, warm top end.

Added features include a lovely walnut rosette and beautiful handcrafted koa binding. The workshop-installed K&K Pure Mini pickups in the guitar capture the fullness of sound without stage feedback. Comes with a hardshell case.
